Sometimes it's extraordinary. Sometimes it's wonderfully ordinary. We believe both can spark joy.

Our collection brings together home décor, accessories, gifts, and everyday treasures from a variety of brands and suppliers. Some pieces are handmade or one-of-a-kind. Others are thoughtfully designed, mass-produced favorites.

Not everything is one-of-a-kind, but everything is chosen with intention.

For years, I built my career in the corporate world — leading teams, solving problems, creating systems, and driving results. I loved the challenge, but somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted to build something different.

Something personal. Something creative. Something that reflected not just what I was good at, but what I believed in.

That life is meant to be lived, not just survived.

I grew up surrounded by artists and dreamers. My grandparents owned a gift shop, and I remember how much more it was than a place to buy things. It was a place to wander, explore, and discover something you hadn't known you were looking for.

I've always been the analytical one, drawn to science, mathematics, history, and understanding how the world works. But the more I've learned, the more I've come to appreciate how extraordinary our ordinary world really is.

The colors of a sunset. The vastness of the ocean. The beauty of nature. The creativity in something made by human hands.

There's wonder everywhere if we take the time to notice it.

Bufftaly was born from the desire to share a little of that wonder.

The name Bufftaly comes from one of my favorite memories.

One afternoon in our grandparents' gift shop, my older sister got tongue-tied and accidentally combined two words: buffalo and butterfly.

Out came "bufftaly."

We laughed until we cried.

It was silly, unexpected, and perfectly imperfect. Just one of those little moments that stays with you.

My sister passed away unexpectedly at just 37 years old. Losing her changed the way I looked at life and the moments we sometimes take for granted.

When it came time to name this boutique, there was never really another choice.

Bufftaly is a tribute to her, to that memory, and to the reminder that life is precious, unpredictable, and worth celebrating.

This dream also celebrates the people who continue to shape my life: my younger sister, an artist who sees beauty through a different lens; my husband, who supports my wild ideas; and my five children, who remind me that life's greatest joys are often moments, memories, and laughter.

Those are the things at the heart of Bufftaly.

Bufftaly isn't about having the biggest catalog or following every trend. It's about discovery.

We partner with brands and suppliers to bring together products that catch our eye, inspire curiosity, offer something useful, or simply make us smile.

Some are unique creations with stories to tell. Others are familiar, everyday products that deserve a little attention.

Our partners ship purchases directly to you, allowing us to offer a diverse collection without a traditional warehouse.

Our role is in the curation — thoughtfully selecting finds we believe are worth sharing.
